GETTING STARTED
Book a 45-minute demo where we’ll show you AuditBot working with real audit data. If it looks right for your firm, we arrange a free 4-week trial that includes an in-person workshop at your office. We train your team using your actual client files, so you’re confident from day one.
- Full access to the platform for your entire team
- An in-person workshop at your office (typically half a day)
- Training using your real audit data
- Email and phone support throughout the trial
After the trial, if you decide to continue, you have a 2-month money-back guarantee. That’s a full quarter risk-free.
The in-person workshop is typically a half-day session. Most auditors are comfortable using AuditBot within 15-20 minutes of first seeing it. The interface is intuitive and designed specifically for auditors, so there’s minimal learning curve.
We train you on your real client data during the workshop, which means you can start using AuditBot on live audits immediately after.
No. AuditBot complements your existing audit process. It works alongside your current sampling methodology (whether you use Mercia, manual sampling, or another approach). You continue your audit the way you always have – AuditBot just handles the repetitive, time-consuming parts.
You can start your trial whenever works for you. Many firms actually prefer to trial AuditBot during busier periods because that’s when the efficiency gains are most noticeable. The time saved on one busy audit often demonstrates the value immediately.
That said, we’re flexible. Some firms prefer to start during quieter periods to get comfortable before busy season hits.
During your 4-week trial, you can use AuditBot on as many or as few audits as you like. Many firms start with 2-3 audits to test it across different client types and complexity levels. This gives you a good feel for how it works in various scenarios.
PRODUCT & FUNCTIONALITY
AuditBot currently includes the full P&L suite:
- Sales transaction testing (order to invoice to nominal ledger matching)
- Purchase transaction testing (invoice matching and reconciliation)
- Wages reconciliation and payroll testing
- Cut-off testing (verifying transactions in correct period)
- Deduction testing (discounts, credits, adjustments)
All tests include automated document matching, exception flagging, and working paper generation.
AuditBot works best with standard transaction documentation: invoices, purchase orders, bank statements, wage slips, and similar financial documents. For clients with very unusual documentation formats or bespoke systems, contact us to discuss whether AuditBot would be suitable for your specific scenario.
Yes. AuditBot includes a foreign currency toggle where you can input exchange rates. It then handles the conversions for matching purposes. This works for clients with invoices in multiple currencies or foreign subsidiaries.
AuditBot processes approximately 10 documents per minute (or about 14,000 transactions per day). In practice, a typical sample of 40-50 transactions takes 4-6 minutes to process once documents are uploaded.
The real time savings comes from the elimination of manual data entry. What would typically take hours of transposing data from PDFs into Excel becomes a few minutes of upload time.
AuditBot works with:
- PDF documents (invoices, orders, statements, wage slips)
- Excel/CSV files (nominal ledgers, trial balances)
- Scanned documents (AuditBot reads even handwritten or crumpled documents)
For nominal ledgers, AuditBot accepts exports from Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and other major accounting packages.
Yes. AuditBot can read handwritten delivery notes, crumpled receipts, and low-quality scans.
When AuditBot encounters something it can’t read with confidence, it flags it for manual review rather than guessing. This ensures accuracy while still saving significant time.
No. AuditBot is built with audit-specific AI, not general-purpose large language models. It’s trained to extract and match data, not generate it.
If AuditBot can’t read something or isn’t confident about a match, it flags it for your review. It will never guess or make assumptions.
This has been independently verified by the ICAEW as part of their technology accreditation process, with additional validation from RSM.
AuditBot produces Excel working papers formatted for attachment to your audit file. The working papers include:
- Test objective and methodology
- Sample details
- Matched transactions with source references
- Flagged exceptions and discrepancies
- Error extrapolations (where applicable)
- Full audit trail
The Excel format means managers and partners can review them exactly as they would any other working paper, with the ability to add comments and adjustments.
Yes. When AuditBot identifies an error (e.g., a penny discrepancy between invoice and nominal ledger), it automatically extrapolates that error across the population. This is standard audit practice and saves manual calculations.
AuditBot verifies that transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period. It checks invoice dates against year-end dates and flags any transactions that cross the boundary. This is particularly useful for clients with high transaction volumes near year-end.
INTEGRATION & COMPATIBILITY
AuditBot complements your existing audit platform. It outputs Excel working papers that attach directly to:
- MyWorkpapers
- Caseware
- CCH
- Iris
- Inflow
- Or any other audit file system
AuditBot doesn’t replace your audit software – it works alongside it to handle the repetitive data processing tasks.
Yes. AuditBot was specifically built to work with Iris (including the on-premise version). It understands Iris’s statutory mapping structure, so you can export your trial balance with nominal codes directly into AuditBot without remapping.
Yes. Like Iris, AuditBot understands the statutory mappings of both CCH and Caseware. You export your trial balance with your existing nominal code structure, and AuditBot reads it directly. No manual remapping required.
AuditBot produces Excel working papers that can be attached to Inflow just like any other working paper. There is no direct integration between the two systems – you simply save the AuditBot output to your audit file.
AuditBot accepts nominal ledgers from:
- Xero
- Sage
- QuickBooks
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Most other major accounting packages
Simply export the trial balance or nominal ledger as a CSV or Excel file and drag it into AuditBot. The system cleans and structures the data automatically.
Currently, no. You upload client documents to AuditBot yourself as part of your audit process. Clients send you documents via email, file sharing, or however you normally receive information requests, and you then upload them to AuditBot for processing.
SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
Yes. AuditBot is ISO 27001 certified (achieved January 2024) and uses industry-leading security measures:
- Bank-grade encryption for all data
- All servers based in London – data never leaves the UK
- UK data residency compliance
- Role-based access controls
- Full audit trail for every action
- Regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
Yes. AuditBot is accredited by the ICAEW Technology Accreditation Scheme. This involved a comprehensive review of our technology, security practices, and AI implementation. The accreditation process included independent validation by RSM, specifically around AI safety and reliability.
You can view the full accreditation details on the ICAEW website.
Yes. AuditBot is fully GDPR compliant. All data is stored on UK-based servers and processed in accordance with UK data protection regulations. We provide data processing agreements as part of our onboarding.
Client data is securely stored on AuditBot’s servers for the duration of your contract. You can request deletion of specific client data at any time. All data is held to the same standards as your firm’s own file retention policies.
We provide comprehensive technical documentation explaining:
- How AuditBot’s AI works
- What data is processed and how
- Security and encryption protocols
- Accuracy validation and quality controls
- Full audit trail capabilities
We also provide a questionnaire that answers the most common ISQM1 questions about technology reliance. Many firms use this documentation as part of their quality management system to demonstrate appropriate oversight of technology.
If your firm has specific ISQM1 documentation needs, we work with you to provide the information required.
Access is controlled by invite only (similar to Inflow). An admin user (typically a partner or manager) creates the account and invites team members. You control exactly who can see which client audits.
Yes. When you invite team members, you assign them to specific audits. They can only see the clients they’ve been given access to. A junior working on Client A cannot see Client B’s data unless specifically granted access.
PRICING & CONTRACTS
Pricing is based on your annual audit volume, not per-seat or per-user. We work on an enterprise model where the more audits you run, the better your per-audit rate.
We can’t provide specific pricing on the website because every firm is different. Book a demo, tell us your audit volume, and we’ll provide a custom quote with no obligation.
Per audit. Your entire team gets access with no additional charges for adding users. This means you don’t need to worry about seat limits or surprise invoices when your team grows.
No. No setup fees, no hidden costs. Just your agreed monthly payment for the number of audits you run.
We work on annual contracts with payments spread across 12 equal monthly instalments. This gives you budget predictability and allows us to deliver the hands-on customer success support that makes AuditBot work.
We base pricing on your estimated annual audit volume. If your actual volume varies significantly from the estimate, we can adjust the agreement for the following year. We’re reasonable – small variations aren’t an issue.
Yes. We’re offering substantial discounts to the first firms who commit to annual contracts with AuditBot. These discounts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your pricing never changes without your explicit agreement. Some enhancements are included at no additional charge as part of our continuous improvement programme.
Yes. During the first 2 months of your paid agreement (after the free trial), you can exit the contract and we’ll refund your fees in full. No questions asked, no quibbles.
This means you have a complete quarter (4-week trial + 2 months paid) to evaluate AuditBot with zero financial risk.
Everything you need:
- Full platform access for your entire team
- In-person workshop at your office
- UK-based email and phone support
- Regular product updates and improvements
- ISO 27001 certified security

IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT
About 2 minutes. You input the client name, audit year-end, and upload the trial balance. AuditBot maps the nominal codes automatically (if you’re using CCH, Iris, or Caseware). Then you’re ready to run tests.
We’re a small team deliberately staying close to our customers. You’re not dealing with a call centre – you get direct access to people who understand audit.
- In-person workshop during onboarding (half-day at your office)
- UK-based email support (response within 24 hours)
- UK-based phone support during business hours
- Technical documentation and user guides
- Product update notifications
- Direct access to our team for questions
Yes. After your initial workshop, we’re happy to provide additional training for new joiners. Most firms find that experienced team members can train new starters themselves (it only takes 15-20 minutes), but we’re available if needed.
Contact us immediately via phone or email. We treat urgent issues as priority and aim to resolve them quickly. Our support team understands audit deadlines and will work with you to ensure you’re not held up.
Yes. During your demo and initial discussions, we’ll talk through your audit portfolio. The best trial audits are typically:
- Medium-to-high transaction volume (so time savings are noticeable)
- Standard documentation (invoices, orders, statements)
- Reasonably clean client data (though AuditBot handles messy data well)
Some firms trial on their most challenging clients to stress-test the system. Others prefer straightforward audits for a smoother first experience. We’ll help you decide what makes sense for your firm.
Yes. We onboard firms in small batches to ensure each firm gets proper attention during implementation. This means we can spend time understanding your specific challenges and ensuring AuditBot works well for your practice.
If you’re interested, we’ll let you know the timeline for the next available cohort.
REAL-WORLD USE
Based on results from a Top 20 UK firm:
- 50% faster fieldwork (read and match processes)
- 60% faster reviews (including improved process discipline)
- 15% time saved on working paper creation overall
Individual test examples from our demos:
- Sample of 50 invoices: 15-20 minutes instead of hours
- Some transaction tests: 1 hour instead of 15 hours
- 3-4 days of work completed in 3-4 hours (with clean client data)
Results vary by client complexity and data quality, but most firms see significant time savings from the first audit.
Yes. AuditBot works for firms of all sizes. Smaller firms still get enterprise-grade automation without Big 4 price tags. The per-audit pricing model means you only pay for what you use.
Yes. Larger firms benefit from standardisation across multiple offices and teams. AuditBot ensures consistent quality regardless of who’s doing the audit, which becomes increasingly valuable as team size grows.
Yes. You set up each legal entity as a separate audit within AuditBot. For group audits, you run tests on each subsidiary separately, then consolidate the working papers as you normally would.
Yes, as long as the underlying transaction testing is similar to standard audits. AuditBot reads invoices, matches transactions, and reconciles data regardless of entity type.
AuditBot handles messy data better than manual processing. It can read crumpled documents, poor-quality scans, and handwritten notes. When it encounters something genuinely unreadable, it flags it for your review rather than skipping it.
The time savings might be lower with very messy clients, but you’ll still save time compared to manual data entry. Plus, the working papers will be more consistent even when source data is chaotic.
Juniors can absolutely use AuditBot. In fact, AuditBot is particularly valuable for junior staff because it eliminates the tedious “tick and bash” work they typically hate. They upload documents, review the exceptions AuditBot flags, and learn to exercise professional judgement on the interesting parts.
This makes audit work more engaging for juniors, which helps with retention.
No. AuditBot replaces repetitive tasks, not auditors. It handles data entry, document matching, and basic reconciliations. Your team still does the important work: risk assessment, professional scepticism, judgement calls, client relationships, and technical decisions.
The goal is to free auditors from boring work so they can focus on the parts that actually require professional expertise.
AuditBot improves both. By using pre-built ISA-compliant test templates, every team member produces consistent working papers regardless of experience level. Managers spend less time fixing formatting issues and more time reviewing substance.
The Top 20 firm that implemented AuditBot reported 60% faster reviews partly because the working papers were so much more consistent.
COMPARISON & ALTERNATIVES
DataSnipper focuses on document extraction and matching within Excel. AuditBot automates the entire test process: data ingestion, document reading, matching, testing, exception flagging, and working paper creation.
We’re also UK-focused (built specifically for UK audit firms with CCH, Iris, Caseware), and we include in-person workshops as standard.
Most audit automation tools take a “hands-off” approach: they give you login credentials and leave you to figure it out. This works for Big 4 firms with dedicated IT teams, but fails mid-sized UK firms.
AuditBot’s approach is “people supporting people”:
- In-person workshops at your office
- Training on your real audit data
- UK-based support that understands UK audit
- 3 months risk-free to prove value
- Built by practising auditors who understand your pressures
Building audit automation internally requires:
- AI/ML expertise (expensive and hard to hire)
- Understanding of ISAs and audit methodology
- Ongoing maintenance and updates
- Security certification (ISO 27001)
- Time to market (likely 12-18 months minimum)
AuditBot gives you enterprise-grade automation built by auditors, maintained by specialists, and ready to use now. Most firms find it’s a better use of resources to partner with us than build internally.
We complement most existing tools rather than replacing them. AuditBot works alongside:
- Audit platforms (Caseware, CCH, Iris, Inflow, MyWorkpapers)
- Accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Sampling tools (Mercia, etc.)
If you’re asking about a specific integration, contact us. We’re always interested in making AuditBot work better with the tools UK firms actually use.
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
AuditBot uses AI trained specifically on audit processes to read documents, extract data, match transactions, and identify exceptions. The system is cloud-based with all infrastructure hosted in UK data centres.
Yes. AuditBot uses audit-specific AI, not general-purpose large language models. It’s trained to extract data, match transactions, and identify exceptions – not to generate text or make creative decisions.
This means AuditBot doesn’t “hallucinate” or make assumptions. If it can’t read something with confidence, it flags it for human review. This has been independently validated by ICAEW and RSM.
Our servers are UK-based and we can provide specific infrastructure details during your security review. The important points are:
- All data stays in the UK
- ISO 27001 certified
- Bank-grade encryption
- Regular security audits
If you have specific cloud provider requirements for your firm’s security policies, let us know and we’ll provide the technical details you need.
Yes. AuditBot works best with individual documents (even if multi-page). For example, a 5-page invoice is fine. A 200-page PDF containing 50 different invoices would need to be split first.
Multiple security layers:
- Bank-grade encryption for data
- Access controls (invite-only, role-based permissions)
- UK-only data storage (no data leaves the country)
- Regular penetration testing
- ISO 27001 certified processes
- Full audit trail of all actions
- Secure deletion protocols
We treat your client data with the same security standards you use for your own audit files.
AuditBot is a cloud-based platform accessible via any modern web browser:
- Chrome (recommended)
- Firefox
- Safari
- Edge
No installation required. Just log in and start working.
